Inventec said that the company will continue to increase its investment in the PV (Photovoltaic) industry on a rosy outlook for the Japanese market, aiming to double its revenue of PV products from NT$10 billion to NT$20 billion in 2014, as reported by the Economic Daily News on December 19. Inventec plans to expand its solar module capacity from 100MW to 400MW by the end of 2014, with solar cell capacity expecting to reach 1GW. Currently, the company's deployment in the PV industry includes Inventec Energy, Inventec Solar Energy, and E-Ton Solar, which collectively represented around 5% of Inventec's overall revenue in 2013.
